Drones — From civilian innovation to asymmetric threat

The drone threat is scaling globally faster than existing defense systems can respond.

Commercial drones have become scalable asymmetric weapons targeting critical infrastructure, civilians, and military assets.

AI-driven drones are rapidly increasing autonomy, precision, and battlefield lethality.

Drones — a growing threat

UAS of all classes small commercial to large military platforms are now routinely equipped with advanced sensors and precision munitions.

Cumulative economic damage from drone-enabled attacks worldwide now exceeds several billion USD annually.

Current counter-UAS systems demonstrate limited effectiveness against the full spectrum of threats. Critical infrastructure, civilian facilities, and military installations remain highly vulnerable to low-cost, proliferated drone systems.

Current Counter-UAS systems fall short

Most existing anti-drone systems are limited to sequential engagement of single targets.

Adversaries increasingly employ small, low-signature drone swarms that emerge rapidly and operate in coordinated groups.

No fielded system today reliably provides simultaneous detection, tracking, and neutralization of multi-drone threats within operational timeframes.

Market & Technology gap in Counter-UAS

Despite extensive global development, no comprehensive counter-UAS kinetic solution currently meets operational requirements, primarily due to:

  • Extremely short engagement windows resulting from minimal standoff distance between threat and defended asset/operator.

  • Demonstrated kinetic intercepts limited to 0–50 m range, and only against pre-acquired, known targets.

Addressing this critical capability gap, and leveraging our established expertise in precision hunting/sport projectiles and advanced weapons engineering, we have successfully developed and validated three distinct counter-UAS munition families.
